Chromecast with Google TV (4K) debloat list

12 packages that owners have disabled on the Chromecast 4K without breaking it, grouped by what they do. Copy the commands, run them over ADB, and undo any of them with one line.

Tested on: Google TV 14 (Android 14), build UTTC.250917.004
Stock home screen: com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx
Connecting with ADB: Port 5555 stays closed until you pair once through Wireless debugging: Developer options → Wireless debugging → Pair device with pairing code, run adb pair with the code shown, then adb connect and adb tcpip 5555.

Read this first

Disabling the setup wizard (setupwraith) is what lets a new home screen take over, but it also breaks casting from phones ("Untrusted device"). If you rely on casting, keep setupwraith and the stock launcher enabled and only remove the apps in the first groups.
With the stock launcher disabled, the YouTube button on the remote stops working. A free key-remapping app (Key Mapper) can bring it back.
Two packages, tvrecommendations and cast2class, already ship disabled. Leave them alone.

Advanced: packages with side effects (3)

These were also disabled on the tested device, but each one changes how the TV behaves (casting, the remote's mic, apps you may use, or which screen opens on Home). Only disable them after reading the warnings above.
